Our Story:
“Chef O” founded Kin Sen (“Noodle Soup” in Thai) in 2020 with the belief that everyone should be able to enjoy fresh, delicious, and authentic Asian dishes at affordable prices in a relaxed and casual dining space.
Ozee- Head Chef and Owner
Ozee, who goes by “Chef O”, has over 15 years of restauranteur and cooking experience. Born and raised in Thailand, she learned how to use local, fresh ingredients to cook exceptionally flavored Asian dishes. Upon relocating to Salt Lake City in 2006, she continued to grow her love for the restaurant space by working for fine dining establishment Cucina Toscana (what is known today as Valter’s Osteria). She went on to open her first Thai restaurant named Ekamai in 2012, which gained much buzz & local press in the Salt Lake area. O’s strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for her craft fueled her into opening a handful more Asian restaurant establishments in the Salt Lake area over the years.
Fast forward to today: if you were to ask O what her goals are as a chef and restaurant owner, it would be the same thing she would have told you ten years ago: to bring happiness to others through her dishes. To her, the food speaks for itself. O is so excited to share her creations with her friends, family, and Salt Lake community and has worked hard to ensure that her customers get a fulfilling dining experience.
